I attended Confoo 2021 conference last week, and I can't express how much I like to attend. It gives me a recurring moment year after year where I take a step back for three full days and watch and listen to what is happening in the software development world.

Keeping an eye on what everyone else is doing is vital in our domain and keeps you going in the right direction. I can now see a big gap between people keeping themselves informed and implementing that knowledge and people who keep doing the same things repeatedly. Major shifts and improvements in software development practices are happening, and you need to learn and improve step by step or else you'll find yourself completely overwhelmed.
